Geneva’s burkini ban

Geneva has banned the burkini. Under new regulations, women must wear something which exposes their arms and legs. City councilors say it’s a matter of hygiene, but critics call the decision a clear attack on Muslims. So is this all about cleanliness or is there something else going on here?

Bikini police, what! Soon there will be underwear police?

I consider Islam a scourge and a crime against humanity. On the other hand the attempt in France to ban the “burkini” on its beaches is a violation of personal freedom and so it was rightly overturned. As for a ban in public swimming pools, general rules should apply.
