This month was an intense fashion journey! I rented some amazing Gwynnie Bee items, wore a watermelon Bikini, and my favorite Velvet dress to my cousin’s wedding. I’m sharing a little cultural exchange with the Polterabend I attended, and indulge in my love of themed dressing, and my favorite thing- sharing submissions from community members using my hashtag, #VOTXGB30. If you wear size 10-32, you’ve got to check Gwynnie Bee out! Having this clothing subscription box membership has enabled me to break out of my shell and try new plus size brands and styles! I’m often asked “is Gwynnie Bee worth it?”, and how much do you actually get out of your membership. So three months ago, I decided to film myself in everything I rented for a month, in order to illustrate the kickass value and variety! Check out the other videos in this series:

My mother is German and she and my Dad had a Polterabend the day before the wedding. I never knew what it was called but the pictures were wild–broken dishes all over the floor and my parents sweeping up.

Oooh i loved the dress you sent back.. And the one for the pottery thing too. I think the navy jumpsuit is one of my favorites on you ever!

mckennakins says:

My goal for this year has been find a jumpsuit that works for my body, and I instantly fell in love with it. I found it online, but I noticed it’s a little sheer on the model. I was wondering how sheer the fabric is, especially around the legs. Would it be work appropriate is my main concern (I can wear a tank top under so no skin on the panel, but I’d really like to know about the leg situation)

Shanna Mottie says:

Yes! A new video! ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

The pottery tradition is very adorable and meaningful. I love it. I would just feel bad for breaking something that someone took the time to make. I’m a little clumsy (a lot) lol
